Blog marketing
and Forum marketing are basically the exact same thing. This
method consists of simply visiting blogs and posting your
comments on on that blog in relation to the main post you
are commenting on.
Its a very
simple thing to do... [Go to the blog] + [Read the first
post on the blog] + [Reply to the post in the form of a
comment].
Now, use a
simple 'disarming' model in every comment, on every blog
that you post in... Consistent Repetition.
Here is the
general layout in making a comment in any blog or forum that
will basically ensure that your affiliate link is
welcomed...
| This is my comment... I have
read the post in this blog/forum and now I am
writing out a well formed comment in direct
relation to the post I am commenting on. I am
going to write at least three lines of text as
the base of my comment. Now that I have a
minimum of three lines of text, I am going to
ask a question, thereby engaging the blog owner
as well as the other blog readers in my
comment... Because I have done this, my comment
is fully welcome into this blog.
(now I drop down 2 lines and
add a string of dashes to indicate that this is
my sig file)

By formatting your post in
this style, you have shown the blog owner as well as the
other blog readers that you are an active and valid member
of their little community, and because of this, your sig
file (your little affiliate link/ad is fully welcomed).
The formula is :: Make a
meaningful statement + ask a valid question + leave sig
file. Ok, now that you
have done this, you can basically reuse that same comment on
all other similar blogs that you post your comment in.
So, the key to make your time as
productive is to collect a list of blogs that are all of
similar topic.... doing this will allow you to make only
very minor modifications per post, meaning that you don't
have to do a lot of thinking and can focus on doing a lot of
posting. There are two
simple ways to find the blogs that you want to post on...
1.) Go to
http://blogsearch.google.com and type in your target
topic (like homemade soap... for example)
2.) Use one of the software
programs listed on the home page of this site. [

By following these steps, you
have an unlimited number of places that you can post your
comments, and remember, every place that you post your
comment amounts to basically the same thing as a classified
ad in a small town newspaper.
Consistency adds up! As you do
this day after day your ads will begin to add up, and more
ads equal more opportunities to make sales!
Forum marketing is basically
the same as blog marketing, but there are a few
differences... 1.) You
go about finding topic specific forums in a different way.
2.) You have to actually create
an account on most forums.
3.) You will want to save a copy
of the forums url that you make posts on.
The comment structure is still
exactly the same. For
finding topic specific forums to post in, go to google and
type in your keyword or key phrase in quotes, and also the
word forum in quotes... like this:: "homemade soap" "forum"

As you see from the example
results, it returns a lot of sites that are mainly forums...
So, start opening those pages and posting.
Most of these forums will
require you to setup an account with them... it's a pretty
painless process. The key is to decide a user name and
password and save it in a text file... this way you will use
the exact same data on every forum you register with. (be
sure to chose a username that isn't at all likely to be in
use by anyone else... like put a number right in the middle
of the word [example= myuse3rname].)
Alright, now you want to save a
list of all of the forums that you register and post in.
This is so that its really easy to go back and post in those
same forums again later.
Think about it... when you make
your initial post on a forum, you have to take the time to
setup an account with them, so by saving the ones you
registered in and posted on, you are able to build up a
great list of forums to post in really quickly later on.
Forums are a great place to
post.. very powerful because they often tend to have a
fiercely loyal subscriber base.
This is a topic I happen to be somewhat of an expert in
:-) ... Just look on the main page of this site, or go to
www.MarketerSOS.com
and look around a bit. What you will find is a wide
variety of software programs designed specifically to
automate posting on various mediums. Each of the software
programs come with either a written tutorial, or a video
tutorial (some times both) that will teach you how to use
them. The key is to have the various software marketing
programs running along with actual manual posts.... even
with software you still need to be making manual posts.
Using the software as much as possible will however quickly
and greatly increase increase your positioning for more
sales in less time.
If you like to write, you can get a full metric ton of
free advertising! Its a very simple method, and one of the
most effective in the world...
The key is to write an article 200-500 words long (that
isnt long at all). Once you have your article written (in
this case you would write an article about web site
advertising and you would point out that (which ever
software program you are promoting from
here
is is a great tool to get the job done). Include your sig
file on the bottom of your article (also known as a resource
box when used in articles) and submit it to the following
article feed databases... Ezinearticles.com,
Goarticles.com,
Searchwarp.
NOTE: Write the article, and make 2 copies of it... the copy
that you submit to
Ezinearticles.com will contain your resource box containing your affiliate
link. the other two copies will link to the article on
Ezinearticles.com rather than your affiliate link in the resource box. If
you aren't sure how to properly write an article, just go to
any of the 3 links listed above and do a search for
[example] search engine marketing software You will be
presented with a list of articles that other people have
written on the subject, and this will give you a great idea
as to how to form your own article, and of course how to
properly setup your resource box on the end of your article.
What happens is that other people will pick up your article
and use it on their own site as content... the result is
that now you have your affiliate link right on web pages
around the globe and you didn't have to pay a single cent
for all of this great advertising! This method alone can
make you rich if you are consistent. So, in the example
above I said it as if you were only going to write a single
article [and you would get traffic with that single article]
but what if you write and submit 3 articles per day for 30
days? [each article will only take you about 30 minutes to
write once you get the hang of it.] In the course of a
single month you would have 90 articles out, and most of
those articles would be on display in other peoples web
pages, and in their ezine/newsletters... Wow!!! That's
awesome exposure! Now, lets take it to the next level....
a lot of people do what I just told you to do, and they do
it because it works and is extremely profitable for them....
BUT... I know a way to skyrocket your article into realms
that most marketers can only dream of :-) I told you to
post your article into those three places specifically
because they are the only ones that really matter -- sure,
using a software program to submit your article to the
hundreds of directories is great and it cant hurt, but it
doesn't help all that much either... unless :-) You
actually have two goals when you submit an article... 1.)
Get it into other peoples web pages and ezine/newsletters.
2.) Get it listed on the top of the search engines for a
specific keyword phrase. See, most people just do #1...
and yes, it is very profitable... BUT, when they
accidentally hit #2 as well, they end up seeing their
traffic reach levels that is mind-boggling and reach profit
levels that could make a rich man shutter. The secret to
nailing #1 & #2 is two parts... a.) Use the keyword phrase
as the title to your article, and use it again at least
twice in the body of your article. [example title] "Search
Engine Marketing - Blogging For Profit" --Those are both
very good phrases to be listed under! b.) Backlinks! --WooHoo!!!!...
backlinks are easy!!! after all, every time you post your
affiliate link anywhere, it is indeed a backlink. So now
you put a little twist on the deal.... because your
affiliate link is in the article, and because articles can
very easily get great search positions and massive exposure,
you need to toss as many backlinks as you can and point them
toward your article on
Ezinearticles.com... and the fastest and easiest way to get those backlinks
super fast (and you need them super fast) is to use one or
more of the automated marketing software programs
here. This method
will blow you away! -- you might need to read this a few
times to really understand it, but I assure you, once you
grasp the concept, your online income can explode.
Okay, one final note on this subject.... you think you
want to use this method, but you aren't really all that
great at writing? -- Then just STEAL the content for your
article! It's super easy to do, and it's done by multitudes
of article writers! Its called 'spinning' ... go to each
of the 3 directories listed above, type in the exact same
search string for each [example] -- Search Engine Marketing
Software -- Now, strip a little content from each one of
the three articles.... now restate in your own words each of
the paragraphs that you have snatched. --you just spun it
and made it uniquely your own -- Now just tie it together
and toss in some reasons to use the software program that
you are promoting [example] vSearchVooDoo. Simple :-) ....
you just wrote a full article in only a few minutes and
because you are using the linking strategies listed above,
you are virtually guaranteed to get massive exposure!!!
Repeat this process 3 times per day for 30 days.... by the
end of those 30 days I feel pretty sure that you will be
very glad that you were consistent in using this method!
This is a cool one!... The goal here is to go to popular
places (think yahoo 360, msn live spaces, dating sites)...
anywhere that encourages you to setup an online profile that
other people will actively browse. Now, this is a little
sneaky, and should be in the dirty tricks section, but its
so powerful that I decided to give it its own section.
What you want to do is create 'spoof' profiles.... I suggest
setting up profiles as women and gay men... I have found
that using these two, along with variations such as age,
body type and so on will truly produce wild results. The
key is that when you setup your profile (hint: make 1 and
save all of the data because you will be able to easily
reuse it to quickly setup more accounts as you go) make it
very clear that you are only interested in people who are
thoughtful and kind enough to support you in your lifestyle
as a professional internet marketer.... then a quick blurb
about how great it is to be able to work online so that you
are able to play with your new online friends all day every
day. ... and absolutely put in your link and simply tell
them... Please go and check out my site (meaning the page
you are promoting) before you contact me so that we have
something to talk about right from the start. Sounds
bold... and it is bold... very bold.... and the results are
amazing. If you have the nerve to use this marketing model,
you'll find that this method alone will produce a very nice
full time income once you get a good backlog of profiles up
and sort of settle in to the whole game. Note: On your
profiles make yourself sound as available and desirable as
possible. This method isn't for everyone, but it is ultra
effective.
This is a great method and the results are explosive.
All that you need to do in order to make this profitable is
create a video 'how-to' ..... it doesn't matter what your
'how-to' covers. Now, once you make your short little
how-to video, edit it so that your link/url is at best,
displayed the whole time your video is running, or at worse,
displays when the video first starts, and right before it
ends. People love how-to's..... and they search for them
every day on a very large scale. Just a few days ago I was
folding clothes, and on a whim I went to google videos and
typed in "how to fold a shirt" .... sure enough there
were a
few videos there... I watched them (and learned a very cool
way to fold shirts, and it impresses the kids too :-). So
here is the thing... im not a professional shirt folder, I
wasn't checking out the competition, I just did a search for
something on a whim, and then I watched a few videos. Now,
if one or more of those videos had had a url displaying for
me, I might have went to the site just to see what else was
there to see. Sure, it might not have been anything that I
was interested in, but then again, it might be something
that I am interested in... and I could be a potential buyer.
As you see, I used 'me' in this method.... but in reality,
millions and millions of people are watching tons of videos
every day on every topic you could ever possibly imagine.
So you ask... shouldn't I create a video related to what I
am selling?.... sure, if you have that ability, go for
it.... but it doesn't matter if you can do it on topic to
the product you are selling or not.... the big thing is to
make as many videos as you can about as many things as you
can and post them to all of the top video feed sites [I have
software that will make that a very easy thing to accomplish
for you]. And remember... you aren't creating feature
length films here..... they can be anywhere from 1 minute to
10-15 minutes and anywhere in between. -- volume is king.--
I hate to sound like I'm cheesing it here, but the truth
is, there are some really great and in-depth manuals online
that cover this topic much better than I could ever cover it
here.... google it. The one bit of hard core advise that I
can give that will result in the most sales with the least
risk is to create a squeeze page (landing page) using the
attack method, (using a headline like "Don't Touch [product
name] Until You Know The Whole Truth".... this will make
them want to find out what the 'truth' is before spending
their money. And when they hit your landing page, tell them
that the software is great, but the truth is that you can
give them a better deal because if they buy using your link,
you will give them xyz gifts for free (the bribe method)...
now, to finish this off and ensure that your adwords money
is at minimal risk, but only on the product/software name.
(its a fact that if someone is doing a search for a specific
software title, they are 93% more likely in buy mode than
someone doing a general broad search.) Now, this method
isn't going to make you rich because there isn't enough
volume of searches for the exact software name, however, if
you do this for every one of the software programs that we
have available for sale to the public here, you will turn a
nice little profit. The key in this is to be creative with
your headline (what you use for your google adwords
campaign) and be creating with your landing page content.

With this method, you basically just create a tiny little
web page... you use a really compelling headline and
sub.title. Basically fluff it up with the best stuff you
can think of, and put a link (very easily seen) on the
page... that's it, not much to it at all. Below here, I am
putting a few squeeze page templates that are already
"Proven" to be effective. If there are none, or very few
when you read this section, don't worry, this whole site is
a huge project and I just haven't had time to do more in it
yet... Its a good idea to make coming to this page a daily
affair so that you are always among the first to see what
new 'helpers' I have included.

Bonus and Incentive marketing... Basically you bribe your
site visitor to make a purchase via your link. Think about
this... often when you go to a site that is attempting to
sell you something, they usually offer one or more bonuses
as an added incentive for you to buy. Well, they do this
because it works. So, what you want to do is setup a
squeeze page and offer them some valuable bonus if they
agree to make the purchase from the site you are promoting.
So the key here is to offer a bonus that has a high
perceived value, but is not generally free on the net,
and/or not easy to get/find. I already have a few programs
that you can use specifically for this method, plus I will
be creating a few more programs that you will be able to use
for this tactic as well. Bottom line is that when they
purchase, you have them send you proof of the purchase (like
the name they used on their order) and then you verify it
via your clickbank account to be sure that you got the
commission from that sale, and then send them the enticement
that you originally offered. I have seen this method do
amazing things combined with PPC (adwords type of
advertising).
Ezine marketing is a simple concept... you don't have
your own list, so you 'rent' someone else's. There are a few
good directories online that have actually done all of the
footwork for you and created large searchable databases
based on the criteria you provide. The one I use is
[http://www.directoryofezines.com/]. They pretty much take
care of everything... you make a couple of decisions about
what type of publication you want to advertise in, and they
return you a list of places that meet your needs. Then you
simply follow the instructions to contact the list owner and
place your order. You do not have to use a place like
directory of ezines to find people who will rent you ad
space within their lists, but it does make it easier. If
you are going to go maverick and just do your own research
to find people to promote your offers via their lists, at
least make yourself a list of 25 places before you purchase
your first ad placement... this will dampen the urge to buy
space in the first one you find, thereby increasing your
overall odds of finding the best bang for your buck. This
is a pretty cost effective method for getting traffic to
your affiliate links... no guarantees, but mainly you will
pull profit every time.
Constantly we hear -- ya gotta
have a list - or - the money is in the list..... Great, but
I found that most marketers had no idea how how to build a
list... There are of course many ways, but I prefer to stick
with what is fast and easy, so, with that in mind...

Now, there you go... you thought it was going to be hard
to build a list... and now you know its a simple and
painless process. BUT BUT BUT.... I have to bust your bubble
on this.
It isn't all peaches and cream like they make it out to
be...
First, the 'subscribers' often don't have a clue how they
ended up on your list.. they usually don't get mad, but they
still have no clue who you are, and certainly may have no
interest in what you are offering.
So, ultimately, the 'subscriber' that you have Must be
finessed a good bit before you ever try to get them to buy
anything from you. Trust must be built and a relationship
forged before your list is worth even a single penny to you.
(-the only exception is if you have the money to buy 10s of
1000's of subscribers per week... in that case, you can just
market directly without warm up, and sheer numbers volume
will carry you-).
This leaves you with only two viable options in order to
monetize your list in the shortest time possible...
1.) set up an autoresponder, load it with a series of
messages specifically designed to gradually introduce
yourself and build trust that leads naturally to forming a
relationship with each individual person on your list. (see,
the 'big boys' made it sound so easy, but this part isnt,
and its a vital part)... no matter what, when you use these
ultra fast and easy lead generation services, you are going
to lose a lot of subscribers.
2.) I'll do it for you - and get those commission checks
coming to you... Yes Of Course There Is A Catch! --
This method is a little hard core... We quickly do 2
things with this method... (1) we quickly weed out every
person on your list who has no interest at all in being on
your list (-yeah, i know the list service told you that
every person wanted to be on your list, but we are dealing
in reality, not sales letter hype, so you just have to
accept and deal with that-). (2) we weed out again and leave
you with only BUYERS on your list (-cold, hard, harsh, &
fast-).
End result -- you will have the highest quality list
known to mankind... you will be staggered by how few people
you really have once the dust settles.... and considering
that you may have made a considerable investment in your
list from the services listed about, it might be a shock and
a slap to your ego.... but then again, after filtering out
all dead weight... you are left with the list that EVERY
marketer on the planet wants to have.... an established list
of buyers, and its common knowledge that if you get a big
enough list of buyers, you truly can print money on demand.
Here is the complete breakdown on how this works...
1.) as the services fill your order and give you the
contact data for your 'subscribers'... you immediately email
each one and simply tell them that there has been an error
in their subscription to your newsletter.

re-enter your subscription data. I am very sorry for this
inconvenience and will make it up to you in a big way when

person who is not specifically interested.--
2.) Now, those who show up on your special squeeze page
(yes, I will provide it) are asked again to subscribe, and
they are also promised a valuable gift... once they re-sign
up and show clearly that they intended to be on this list,
they are provided with their free gift, PLUS they are
presented with a OTO (I will provide that too) IF IF IF they
take up this offer, they will be making a small purchase via
your clickbank affiliate id.. this does two things... (1) it
causes you to get a little immediate income from your list
(2) it causes you to have a documented email list via
clickbank control panel... a list of 100% buyers.
Now, every time you want to promote something to 'your'
list.... you simply login to your clickbank account and send
your offer to every person who has purchased from you in the
past (very simple - very effective - very profitable)
Now the trick to all of this is that you are basically
scrapping the list you bought and recreating a super-list...
But the fun doesn't stop there.
Of all of the people who re-verified their acceptance of
being subscribed, they have done two things... (1) they were
automatically cookied when they went to your squeeze page
-meaning that you will get credit for any product they
purchase from me for he next 60 days, which means your
clickbank 100% buyers list will continue to grow.(2) Because
you basically put them into my own autoresponder series, I
will be working on the ones who did not buy and will be
building a relationship with them, and attempting to warm
them up to make a purchase after several relationship
building exposures. ... bottom line, I will keep trying to
convert them into your clickbank 100% verified buyers list.
Ultimate End Result -- You have the most powerful type
of list on the entire internet.

This list building method is extremely hard core.... this
is basically what the internet elite do to swell their own
lists up with proven internet buyers... It's not always
cheap, but if you have at least a small bankroll to work
with, this is the way to go because it is all pretty much
automated to the extent that you basically just sit back and
get paid once you come to a certain point.
If you are truly serious about making money online, you
need to have a website, you need to have the ability to run
php from your web site, and you need to be able to ftp to
your web site.
Its okay if you do not understand what I said above...
I'll provide you with what you need in order to take
advantage of it.
Okay, so lets get down to the down and dirty marketing
method!
I guess, for the record -- I am not in any way telling
you to use this method, I am not telling you how to use this
method -- What I am doing is showing you how other people
are using this method.
It's called 'cookie stuffing' ...
Cookie stuffing is the act of causing a cookie to load on
a persons computer simply by visiting your web site.
If you recall, clickbank places a cookie on a persons
computer when they click on your affiliate link... this is
how clickbank keeps track of the sales that you are
responsible for.
Cookie stuffing just makes it so that the person doesn't
have to click any link, all they have to do is show up on
your site and the cookie is automatically set.
Here's an example of how/why/when a person might use
cookie stuffing... Lets say that a person is going to be
promoting Product ABC and they have setup a review type of
squeeze page.
So in their review page they list the qualities of
Product ABC and you list the qualities of some similar
program, and ultimately they tell the visitor that Product
ABC is all around the better choice for their advertising
dollar.
Now, to make it seem completely unbiased, they do not
provide any affiliate link to click on to go to the Product
ABC web site and make the purchase... instead, they provide
a direct link to the sales page.
This makes the average person feel as if the review is
simply designed to provide them with information and nothing
more.
So, they do not even try to cheat him/her out of his/her
commissions, because as far as they know, he/she isn't going
to be getting any.
But what they don't know is that the cookie is already
set on their computer... so the person does not need for
them to click on any affiliate link.
The easiest way that I know of for setting up cookie
stuffing is via iframes and/or image tags... the code would
be exactly as shown below.

No, I am not telling you to do cookie stuffing for my
stuff or anyone else's... I'm just telling you how it is
being done, and that it is popular because it is effective.
Okay, doing this is in no way illegal that I am aware of, but
then again I'm no lawyer... but it is against the TOS
for some companies (I'm pretty sure that clickbank is one of
them).
Is using cookie stuffing wrong?.... well, some will yell
from rooftops that it is completely wrong to stuff
cookies... others say its your site and it isnt in any way
causing any harm to your site visitors, so it is 100% okay
to do.
As for me -- I don't know. I might take this section
out considering the controversy that could easily surround
it, but in all honesty, it does seem fair to be able to tell
you about it. (ha! - so much for free
speech... when I started writing this section I was just
thinking of telling you methods of affiliate marketing and
now that I wrote it I am wondering if I can get in trouble
for posting something that is already freely available on
the net... hmmmm)
I guess, for the record I will say it again -- I am
not in any way telling you to use this method, I am not
telling you how to use this method -- What I am doing is
showing you how other people are using this method.
