Using Software Directories To Get Massive Amounts Of Downloads, Plus The Added Benefit Of High PR Backlinks!

Think of all of the software directory sites that list all sorts of software.... There are more than a thousand of them for sure, and between them all, they get millions of visitors per day browsing looking for software... You could submit your custom branded copy to those places and get all kinds of downloads fast! (I tested this method using only ProxyGenius and the downloads exploded to levels that startled me).

The power of doing this is that you write your own description and everything about the software, even list yourself as the author, and give it your own name.... This way, it doesn't matter if thousands of people are doing the same thing in the same places with the same software program, because everyone's is unique because of their own name for it, description of it and so on.

Now, there is a nice little hidden bonus in using this method... LOL... You'll like his one!

You get to provide your own link to your custom software download (you upload it to your own host)... now, when it asks for the authors main site (your main site) you list the website that you are promoting, no matter what it is... The result is that they give you a backlink (yes - it may not be a backlink targeted to your offer there, but its still a backlink and that is still better than no backlink at all)... and many of these software places have great pr... and they give a direct link to you, so you get pr value from them as well.

In my own testing, after submitting to all of them (I used a commercially available software program) I ended up with a pr 5 and 600 incoming links to a test domain that I had never used for anything and had never promoted in any way! --Ha! pretty cool huh! (went on to sell that domain and even made a nice profit there as well)

So basically, you could keep submitting software ... all of them (even rename and change some details and resubmit) to basically push any page you want into a higher pr level, and give it a ton of great backlinks.... All while creating a passive affiliate income!... This is so sweet... it just doesn't get any better!

Signature File - Reverse Marketing

Put your software offer as your signature file in your email program (I suggest using a gmail account)... then go to any/all classified ad sites and go down the list contacting people who are selling something and tell them you are very interested and feel free to contact you at... blah blah blah... Also setup an 'away or vacation' message if possible... it will autorespond to the people who write to you, and gives you another chance to tempt them with your cool software!

This is a reverse marketing tactic because when they get your email, they will see your offer in your signature, so out of pure numbers, a certain percentage will go download a copy from you :-) ... there are people who use this method exclusively to build their lists.

Co-Reg Marketing - The Safe & Effective Way.

CO-REG Method -- This involves using co-reg email campaigns. Pretty simple, very fast, and the costs are easily absorbed be profits generated.

First, purchase some signups from your favorite co-reg company, be sure that ...

[1] they do not run your listing 'pre-checked'... you want to target more closely by making sure that the actual person purposefully selects to 'join' your list via the co-reg.

[2]Next, make sure that you have an autoresponder setup that works flawlessly with the co-reg system.

Now for your small classified ad to use in getting people to signup for your list via the co-reg system requirements, get ultra-targeted here... something along the lines of "Custom Marketing Software To Promote Your Wed Site FREE".

Next, craft your autoresponder message (to be sent the second they signup)... Basically pump up which ever program you are wanting them to install, and give them the download link --

Be sure to tell them that no registration is required for them to try out the program... your goal is to get them to download/install any of the software that you have branded so that they automatically begin to cause you the potential to make money.

This is one of my favorite attacks... it's brutal, fast, and deadly effective.

Blog & Forum Marketing Method
 

Blog marketing and Forum marketing are basically the exact same thing. This method consists of simply visiting blogs and posting your comments on on that blog in relation to the main post you are commenting on.

Its a very simple thing to do... [Go to the blog] + [Read the first post on the blog] + [Reply to the post in the form of a comment].

Now, use a simple 'disarming' model in every comment, on every blog that you post in... Consistent Repetition.

Here is the general layout in making a comment in any blog or forum that will basically ensure that your affiliate link is welcomed...

By formatting your post in this style, you have shown the blog owner as well as the other blog readers that you are an active and valid member of their little community, and because of this, your sig file (your little affiliate link/ad is fully welcomed).

The formula is :: Make a meaningful statement + ask a valid question + leave sig file.

Ok, now that you have done this, you can basically reuse that same comment on all other similar blogs that you post your comment in.

So, the key to make your time as productive as possible is to collect a list of blogs/forums that are all of similar topic.... doing this will allow you to make only very minor modifications per post, meaning that you don't have to do a lot of thinking and can focus on doing a lot of posting.

There are simple ways to find the blogs and forums that you want to post on...

1.) Go to http://blogsearch.google.com and type in your target topic (like homemade soap... for example)

2.) Use one of the software programs listed [ Here ]

3.) Go to google and type in something like::
soap making "forum"

Use your main keyword without quotes, and then quote the word "Forum".

By following these steps, you have an unlimited number of places that you can post your comments, and remember, every place that you post your comment amounts to basically the same thing as a classified ad in a small town newspaper.

Consistency adds up! As you do this day after day your ads will begin to add up, and more ads equal more downloads of your custom branded software, which in turn means more opportunities to make sales!

• Forum Marketing Method

Forum marketing is basically the same as blog marketing, but there are a few differences...

1.) You go about finding topic specific forums in a different way.

2.) You have to actually create an account on most forums.

3.) You will want to save a copy of the forums url that you make posts on.

The comment structure is still exactly the same.

For finding topic specific forums to post in, go to google and type in your keyword or key phrase in quotes, and also the word forum in quotes... like this:: "homemade soap" "forum"

As you see from the example results, it returns a lot of sites that are mainly forums... So, start opening those pages and posting.

Most of these forums will require you to setup an account with them... it's a pretty painless process. The key is to decide a user name and password and save it in a text file... this way you will use the exact same data on every forum you register with. (be sure to chose a username that isn't at all likely to be in use by anyone else... like put a number right in the middle of the word [example= myuse3rname].)

Alright, now you want to save a list of all of the forums that you register and post in. This is so that its really easy to go back and post in those same forums again later.

Think about it... when you make your initial post on a forum, you have to take the time to setup an account with them, so by saving the ones you registered in and posted on, you are able to build up a great list of forums to post in really quickly later on.

Forums are a great place to post.. very powerful because they often tend to have a fiercely loyal subscriber base.

If you like to write, you can get a full metric ton of free advertising! Its a very simple method, and one of the most effective in the world...

The key is to write (or steal) an article 200-500 words long (that isn't long at all). ** Article stealing is an easy art to master - I'll explain it lower in this tutorial.

Once you have your article written (in this case you would write an article about web site advertising and you would point out that (which ever software program you are promoting is a great tool to get the job done).

Include your sig file on the bottom of your article (also known as a resource box when used in articles) and submit it to the following article feed databases...

Ezinearticles.com,
Goarticles.com,
Searchwarp.

NOTE: Write the article, and make 2 copies of it... the copy that you submit to Ezinearticles.com will contain your resource box containing your affiliate link in your signature file,the other two copies will link to the article on Ezinearticles.com rather than your affiliate link in the resource box.

The reason for this is that those other two articles push up the power of your main article because both of the backlinks it provides are powerful to the search engines.

If you aren't sure how to properly write an article, just go to any of the 3 links listed above and do a search for [example] search engine marketing software

You will be presented with a list of articles that other people have written on the subject, and this will give you a great idea as to how to form your own article, and of course how to properly setup your resource box on the end of your article.

What happens is that other people will pick up your article and use it on their own site as content... the result is that now you have your affiliate link right on web pages around the globe and you didn't have to pay a single cent for all of this great advertising!

This method alone can make you rich if you are consistent.

So, in the example above I said it as if you were only going to write a single article [and you would get traffic with that single article] but what if you write and submit 3 articles per day for 30 days? [each article will only take you about 30 minutes to write once you get the hang of it.]

In the course of a single month you would have 90 articles out, and most of those articles would be on display in other peoples web pages, and in their ezine/newsletters... Wow!!! That's awesome exposure!

Now, lets take it to the next level.... a lot of people do what I just told you to do, and they do it because it works and is extremely profitable for them.... BUT... I know a way to skyrocket your article into realms that most marketers can only dream of :-)

I told you to post your article into those three places specifically because they are the only ones that really matter -- sure, using a software program to submit your article to the hundreds of directories is great and it cant hurt, but it doesn't help all that much either... unless :-)

You actually have two goals when you submit an article...

1.) Get it into other peoples web pages and ezine/newsletters.

2.) Get it listed on the top of the search engines for a specific keyword phrase.

See, most people just do #1... and yes, it is very profitable... BUT, when they accidentally hit #2 as well, they end up seeing their traffic reach levels that is mind-boggling and reach profit levels that could make a rich man shutter.

The secret to nailing #1 & #2 is two parts...

a.) Use the keyword phrase as the title to your article, and use it again at least twice in the body of your article. [example title] "Search Engine Marketing - Blogging For Profit" --Those are both very good phrases to be listed under!

b.) Backlinks! --WooHoo!!!!... backlinks are easy!!! after all, every time you post your affiliate link anywhere, it is indeed a backlink.

So now you put a little twist on the deal....  because your affiliate link is in the article, and because articles can very easily get great search positions and massive exposure, you need to toss as many backlinks as you can and point them toward your article on Ezinearticles.com... and the fastest and easiest way to get those backlinks super fast (and you need them super fast) is to use one or more of the automated marketing software programs here.

This method will blow you away! -- you might need to read this a few times to really understand it, but I assure you, once you grasp the concept, your online income can explode.

Okay, one final note on this subject.... you think you want to use this method, but you aren't really all that great at writing? -- Then just STEAL the content for your article! It's super easy to do, and it's done by multitudes of article writers!

Its called 'spinning' ... go to each of the 3 directories listed above, type in the exact same search string for each [example] -- Search Engine Marketing Software --

Now, strip a little content from each one of the three articles.... now restate in your own words each of the paragraphs that you have snatched. --you just spun it and made it uniquely your own --

Now just tie it together and toss in some reasons to use the software program that you are promoting [example] vSearchVooDoo.

Simple :-) .... you just wrote a full article in only a few minutes and because you are using the linking strategies listed above, you are virtually guaranteed to get massive exposure!!!

Repeat this process 3 times per day for 30 days.... by the end of those 30 days I feel pretty sure that you will be very glad that you were consistent in using this method!

This is a cool one!... The goal here is to go to popular places (think yahoo 360, msn live spaces, dating sites)... anywhere that encourages you to setup an online profile that other people will actively browse.

Now, this is a little sneaky, and should be in the dirty tricks section, but its so powerful that I decided to give it its own section.

What you want to do is create 'spoof' profiles.... I suggest setting up profiles as women and gay men... I have found that using these two, along with variations such as age, body type and so on will truly produce wild results.

The key is that when you setup your profile (hint: make 1 and save all of the data because you will be able to easily reuse it to quickly setup more accounts as you go) make it very clear that you are only interested in people who are thoughtful and kind enough to support you in your lifestyle as a professional internet marketer.... then a quick blurb about how great it is to be able to work online so that you are able to play with your new online friends all day every day. ... and absolutely put in your link and simply tell them... Please go and check out my site (meaning the page you are promoting) before you contact me so that we have something to talk about right from the start.

Sounds bold... and it is bold... very bold.... and the results are amazing. If you have the nerve to use this marketing model, you'll find that this method alone will produce a very nice full time income once you get a good backlog of profiles up and sort of settle in to the whole game.

Note: On your profiles make yourself sound as available and desirable as possible.

This method isn't for everyone, but it is ultra effective.

Video Marketing Method
 

This is a great method and the results are explosive.

All that you need to do in order to make this profitable is create a video 'how-to' ..... it doesn't matter what your 'how-to' covers.

Now, once you make your short little how-to video, edit it so that your link/url is at best, displayed the whole time your video is running, or at worse, displays when the video first starts, and right before it ends.

People love how-to's..... and they search for them every day on a very large scale. Just a few days ago I was folding clothes, and on a whim I went to google videos and typed in "how to fold a shirt" .... sure enough there were a few videos there... I watched them (and learned a very cool way to fold shirts, and it impresses the kids too :-).

So here is the thing... i'm not a professional shirt folder, I wasn't checking out the competition, I just did a search for something on a whim, and then I watched a few videos.

Now, if one or more of those videos had had a url displaying for me, I might have went to the site just to see what else was there to see.

Sure, it might not have been anything that I was interested in, but then again, it might be something that I am interested in... and I could be a potential buyer.

As you see, I used 'me' in this method.... but in reality, millions and millions of people are watching tons of videos every day on every topic you could ever possibly imagine.

So you ask... shouldn't I create a video related to what I am selling?.... sure, if you have that ability, go for it.... but it doesn't matter if you can do it on topic to the product you are selling or not.... the big thing is to make as many videos as you can about as many things as you can and post them to all of the top video feed sites [I have software that will make that a very easy thing to accomplish for you].

And remember... you aren't creating feature length films here..... they can be anywhere from 1 minute to 10-15 minutes and anywhere in between. -- volume is king.--

Ezine marketing is a simple concept... you don't have your own list, so you 'rent' someone else's. There are a few good directories online that have actually done all of the footwork for you and created large searchable databases based on the criteria you provide.

The one I use is [http://www.directoryofezines.com/]. They pretty much take care of everything... you make a couple of decisions about what type of publication you want to advertise in, and they return you a list of places that meet your needs.

Then you simply follow the instructions to contact the list owner and place your order.

You do not have to use a place like directory of ezines to find people who will rent you ad space within their lists, but it does make it easier.

If you are going to go maverick and just do your own research to find people to promote your offers via their lists, at least make yourself a list of 25 places before you purchase your first ad placement... this will dampen the urge to buy space in the first one you find, thereby increasing your overall odds of finding the best bang for your buck.

This is a pretty cost effective method for getting traffic to your affiliate links... no guarantees, but mainly you will pull profit every time.

Squeeze Pages & PPC Marketing

Squeeze pages are most commonly used in PPC campaigns. I'm not going to go deep into PPC because I'm really not an authority on it since my entire company is basically based around free advertising methods.

But just because I'm not knowledgeable on the subject doesn't mean that it can't be used and made wildly successful.

I decided to run a little test using PPC to get people to download some of my programs... The results have been 'ok' for me... in other words, I'm getting people to download, and getting conversions on those downloads.

I think that my conversion might be as good as it is because I am able to slip in a unique twist that other PPC marketers aren't able to do.

In general, the common approach in a PPC listing is to do one of two things, and both when setup properly...

[1] Collect the visitor name/email immediately

[2] After getting that information from them, immediately attempt to see them something.

However, because of our unique setup with this custom affiliate program, we are able to truly 'disarm' our visitor and tell them that we do not want their name or email, and then not immediately followup to get a sell from them.

Instead, we are able to pull them in using the ultimate 'snag' and then just let the software do it's own thing to convert them.
